Mahindra TUV300 Plus has been launched in India for INR 9.47 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The car is available in three variants named P4, P6, and P8. While this given price is applicable on P4 trim, P6 and P8 can be bought for INR 9.83 lakh and INR 10.86 lakh respectively.
TUV300 Plus is available with a bigger 2.2L engine, resulting in a comfort packed ride for all 9 passengers of the car. They are offering five shade options and as expected earlier, the front end remains exactly identical in design to standard TUV300 with seven seats.
The stretched version comes with a new rear end as boxy feel could have ruined the overall design lines for a car longer than 4 meters. Not just that, TUV300 Plus features longer jump seats for that added utility as the front facing option limits passenger number to eight.
Those looking for a comfortable long distance partner in strict pricing can consider the same as fuel bills and maintenance cost could be kept under check through TUV300 Plus. The 2.2L engine is available in the least powerful 120 HP tune for better efficiency values in terms of fuel use. Apart from brake energy regeneration, the car also features an ECO mode.
The top spec variant of TUV300 Plus comes with 7-inch touchscreen system with GPS navigation and faux leather seats and additional interior changes through the designing arm Pininfarina. As Mahindra is currently working hard on new products, their strategy covers all of them by keeping existing products in mind.
Before all new 2018 Maruti Ertiga could even see the daylight in India, Mahindra has placed an even impressive option with more power, better space and added an essence of premium interior touch. The already extinct yet still on sale, Renault Lodgy, is the closest rival to TUV300 Plus.
