The all-new Mahindra Scorpio-N made its official debut in the country back on 27th June this year and the SUV is now available in the Indian markets with a starting price of Rs 11.99 lakhs for the base petrol manual variant while the top-spec diesel 4WD automatic variant is available for Rs 23.90 lakhs. Here’s the complete list of the prices for all the variants of the Mahindra Scorpio-N:
In its new avatar, the SUV looks enticing with its six vertical slat front grille having the Mahindra logo in the centre, chrome accents all over the body, a bold front facade and a simple yet classy rear profile. In other words, the maker has presented the Scorpio N with a completely new appearance compared to its predecessors. It needs to be mentioned here that the old model of Scorpio will also be sold along with the new-gen model under the name “Scorpio Classic”.
Not only the exterior, but the interior of the new-gen Scorpio also gets a fantastic job done by the design and styling experts at Mahindra. The SUV comes with a host of advanced features like a fully digital instrument cluster, dual front and rear camera, a wireless charger, a multifunction steering wheel, a jewel knob for driving modes, a large instrument cluster, second-row captain seats, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with inbuilt navigation.
Some of the key infotainment system features include Amazon Alexa built-in, what3words (w3w) – Alexa enabled, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto TM, Sony 3D Immersive Audio with 12 speakers and a dual-channel subwoofer.
Under the hood, the big daddy of the SUVs gets two engine options – a 2.2L diesel engine and a 2.0L petrol engine. The 2.0L mStallion turbo-petrol engine is capable of generating 200 HP of power along with 370 Nm of torque when paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and 380 Nm if you choose the 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Coming to the 2.2L mHawk diesel engine, it is available in two states of tune. The low-end option generates 130 HP of maximum power and 300 Nm of peak torque, while the top-end option is good for 172 HP of maximum power. Like the petrol engine option, the high-end diesel engine option also generates two values of maximum torque – 370 Nm with a 6-speed gearbox and 400 Nm with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
