Mahindra XUV700 Full Price List Officially Revealed – Rs 11.99 lakhs to Rs 21.59 lakhs
Putting an end to all of the rumoured and leaked price lists, Mahindra has today officially announced the complete ex-showroom price list for the much-anticipated XUV700 premium SUV. The price range starts from Rs 11.99 lakhs for the base MX 5-seater petrol manual variant and goes all the way to Rs 21.59 lakhs for the top-spec AX7 7-seater Diesel automatic variant. The XUV700 will be on display at select Mahindra dealerships starting from 1st October while the test drives will be commenced from 2nd October. In terms of availability, the bookings for the Mahindra XUV700 are going to open on 7th October at 10:00 AM while the deliveries dates of the SUV are going to be announced on 10th October 2021. As per the details available, the deliveries for the petrol variants will begin first while the deliveries for the diesel variants will commence at a later stage.
With a starting price tag of INR 11.99 lakhs, the XUV700 competes with a lot of cars around this price range like Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Alcazar, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, Tata Safari, Jeep Compass, MG Hector, MG Hector Plus, and to some extent, with Hyundai Tucson as well.
Mechanically, the Mahindra XUV700 is available with two engine options: a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol Stallion unit and a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-diesel mHawk unit. The petrol engine is good for a maximum power of 200HP and a peak torque of 380Nm.
Coming to the diesel engine option, it is available in two states of tune. The lower version is good for 155HP and 360Nm while the higher-spec version generates 185HP and 420/450Nm (MT/AT) of power and torque respectively. Both the engine options can be had with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options.
The diesel engine also comes with 4 drive modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom, and Custom. There is also an All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) version on offer on the 7-seater diesel automatic variant.
