Mahindra XUV700 Pickup Truck Version Looks Fantastic!

The digital artist Noel George who handles an Instagram page namely, NStreet Design, recently shared digitally rendered images of an XUV700 based off-road pickup truck. The exterior has been completely restyled virtually and is modified into an aggressive looking muscular pickup truck by the artist.

Not long ago but in the month of September, Mahindra and Mahindra launched the XUV700 in the Indian market and in no time this SUV has earned massive fame in the market. Due to the more than expected demand for the car, the waiting period has been pushed beyond 12-18 months.

As the car is offering a lot in terms of looks and other features, the fame is understandable. Coming back to the digitally rendered image of the XUV700 pickup truck, it can be noticed that the front has a massive bash plate mounted to the bumper. With this extra element in the styling of the original version, the front end now looks more muscular in comparison to the actual version of the SUV. In addition to that, the wheel arches and the door sills have thicker black coloured plastic cladding which makes it look more rough and tough.

Furthermore, the wheels now have smaller units wrapped around with chunky and knobbly tyres in order to get an ample amount of traction. The tyres have wider track width for both the front and rear axles. Apart from that, the ride height has also been increased along with the suspension travel and side steps have been added to ease ingress and egress. The cabin has been modified and shortened to half in order to make space for the loading bed consisting of a pair of spare wheels strapped to it.

Both the front and rear bumpers have towing hooks that can be used in situations needing the same. Other features include simple looking LED taillights, a roof carrier, an auxiliary LED light bar mounted on the roof, integrated grab handles, bungee points on the bed and many more.

Originally, the Mahindra XUV700 comes with two engine options, a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-litre turbo diesel unit coupled with a 6-speed manual and also with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Both the engines along with the automatic transmissions are powerful enough to go on off-road adventures.
