On June 27, Mahindra launched the all-new Scorpio N, hoping for another spectacular success after the Thar and XUV700. While the SUV has received significant updates, Mahindra has made the deal even sweeter by introducing a starting offer price of Rs 12 lakh. This will apply to the first 25k bookings. Scorpio N’s official bookings will begin on July 30.
While the new Scorpio N has an enticing profile, there is always room for improvement. In the same vein, Bimble Designs has created a Sports Edition version of the Scorpio-N. This digital render is absolutely stunning, especially with its exciting Red-Black colour palette. Scorpio N is available in a variety of single-tone colour options, including Everest White, Napoli Black, Royal Gold, Deep Forest, Dazzling Silver, Red Rage, and Grand Canyon.
The emphasis in this render is on introducing changes that improve the overall look and feel of the SUV. Instead of a major redesign, much of the original design has been kept. In contrast to the stock model’s liberal use of chrome highlights, this render employs a blacked-out theme. Blacked-out grille and use of carbon fibre finish show this, the latter is visible on the bonnet, mirror caps, side skirts, and rear spoiler. The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio modified SUV also gets a sleek hood scoop and custom fender up front.
20-inch alloy wheels with low-profile tyres have improved the side profile. The base model comes with R17 wheels, while the top-spec model comes with R18 wheels. The extended fender flares in carbon fibre finish are another noticeable change on the sides.
Scorpio-N, as tough as it appears, is also one of the safest SUVs. In Global NCAP crash tests, it is expected to receive a 4 or 5-star safety rating. This is consistent with Thar’s 4-star safety rating and the XUV300 and XUV700’s 5-star safety ratings. The safety kit on board the Scorpio-N includes six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill hold control and hill descent control, driver drowsiness detection, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and parking sensors.
