Maruti has been working from a long time on the 2017 variant of its popular compact sedan, Dzire. The all new car comes with updated front and rear designing, getting slightly more effective roofline and loosing some serious weight with its new underpinnings. Maruti was still away from the official launch while recent spy shots from GaadiWaadi has clearly detailed each of the component on the new Dzire. Here are the first ever details for the 2017 Maruti Dzire.
The car gets the same headlights as the next generation Swift that was revealed internationally. The front hexagonal grill seems at the wrong place as The body design of the new Dzire is slightly away from this theme. The front bumper is all new, carrying a smaller lower grill and chrome surrounding for the fog lamp area. The differences on rear include a Ciaz style integrated spoiler, new taillights and familiar flat bumper. The side profile is not the same as next generation Swift.
2017 Dzire comes with a lower placed rear door handle while its roofline flowing neatly into the compact boot of the car. The tyres remain same as the old generation car. Interior of the new Dzire gets updated instrument console, different dashboard with dual tone finish and faux wood inserts. Maruti has added the popular Smartplay system into the car while it also gets an all new steering wheel, shared with the international spec 2017 Suzuki Swift. It was spotted in the automatic gearbox variant.
Maruti has tried its best to update even the smallest of the possible details on the car but still, something seems missing from the Dzire’s charm. It now has some serious equipment on the list while rest depends how the company promotes their new product. 2017 Dzire will rival none other than Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze, Ford Aspire, Volkswagen Ameo and Tata Tigor in its segment. They have not announced any time frame for its launch in India currently.
