Maruti Suzuki recently launched the 2023 model of the Eeco Van in the Indian markets. The price of the base Tour V 5-Seater Standard variant starts at 5.10 lakhs and goes up to 8.13 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the range-topping Ambulance trim.
Metallic Brisk Blue is a new colour option for the 2023 version of the Maruti Eeco. There are no other exterior changes besides the new colour. The interior features a new steering wheel inspired by the Celerio. The AC and heater now have new rotary controls. The most noticeable difference is the new digital instrument cluster.
The updated Eeco is powered by a more powerful 1.2-litre K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine. It has 10% more power, 80.76 PS at 6000 RPM and 104.4 Nm torque at 3000 RPM.
The van is now 25% more fuel efficient, with a claimed mileage of 20.20 km/l for the gasoline engine. The S-CNG version claims a fuel efficiency of 27.05 km/kg, which is 29% higher.
The updated interior comes with driver-focused controls. Reclining front seats, a cabin air filter (in AC variants), and a dome lamp with a new battery-saver function.
Dual airbags, engine immobilizer, and illuminated hazard switch are safety features. It also has ABS with EBD, a child lock for sliding doors & windows, and reverse parking sensors are other safety features. The Cargo petrol variant now has a flat cargo floor, which adds 60 litres to cargo space.
The Eeco will be available in 13 different configurations. It includes 5-seater, 7-seater, Cargo, Tour, and Ambulance models. The van will be available in five different colours: Solid White, Metallic Brisk Blue (New), Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Gleaming Grey, And Pearl Midnight Black.
