The new Maruti Suzuki Jimny is a three-door compact SUV that is being exported from India in the same specification as that of the Japanese version. The off-roader approximately measures 3645mm in length, 1645mm in width, and 1720mm in height. The next-gen model is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard while a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is also being offered as an option.

Maruti Suzuki aims to increase their position in the global production stature with the set up of Jimny’s production in India. Indian manufacturing will help in supplementing the capacity to meet the global demand for the model.
