Maruti Vitara Brezza is one of the most successful SUVs ever launched by the brand judging from its powerful engine, amazing design and the notable fan following. So, in order to minimize the waiting period for the car, the company has ramped up its productions by 10% to 94,000 units from April to October 2018, the whole seven months in which it sold 95,000 units of the same.
The company has sold more than 3.57 lakh units of the Maruti Vitara Brezza and thus the production has been increased to meet the increasing demand for the game changer SUV. The Maruti Production plant in Gujarat has been producing the Maruti Vitara Brezza since its launch and 6-7 weeks of waiting period persists at present for buying the SUV.
Commenting on the production hike for the said SUV, RS Kalsi, the Senior Executive Director (Marketing and Sales) said: “The high demand for our popular models such as the Vitara Brezza is a testimony of our best in class technology, design and customer experience. With the Suzuki Motor Gujarat plant operating at its full capacity of 2.5 lakh units annually in Gujarat, we are able to increase the output. We are confident that with the reduced waiting period, we will be able to enhance the car buying and ownership experience of our customers.”
In terms of engine specifications, the Maruti Vitara Brezza is powered by 1.3-litre diesel engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 88.8 bhp @ 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm @ 1,750 rpm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. At present, the Vitara Brezza is priced at INR 7.60 lakh for the base model and INR 10.56 lakh for the top model.
