Maruti Suzuki recently launched the Vitara Brezza sports edition, which is more like an accessorised version of the car. The regular model of the car is priced from INR 7.67 lakh to 10.43 lakh, and the Brezza sports edition accessory kit can be purchased for any of the existing variants for an additional cost of INR 29,990.
The company is offering a wide range of accessories in the sports edition package which includes new yellow muscle finish seat covers, attractive body graphics, chrome front and rear garnish, designer mats, wheel arch kit, neck cushions, side cladding, side skid plate, leather steering cover, and door sill-guard. Existing Vitara Brezza customers can also equip their cars with the accessory kit by paying for this sports edition package.
While introducing the Brezza sports edition the company said: “It (Vitara Brezza) has achieved the fastest 4 lakh sales mark in the SUV segment in just 35 months, with a CAGR of over 13%. Vitara Brezza is one of the top 10 best selling cars in the country. It has been consistently clocking growing numbers, much higher than several competition products put together.”
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has undoubtedly remained the best-selling car in the subcompact SUV segment since its launch in India. But now the recently launched Hyundai Venue can have a significant impact on its sales. The Vitara Brezza was launched in 2016 and since its launch, Maruti Suzuki has sold over 4.35 lakh units in the Indian market.
As per the latest details available, by March 2020 the D13A 1.3-litre DDiS 200 diesel engine is likely to be replaced by the K15B 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a new BSVI compliant powertrain. The four-cylinder engine produces 105HP at 6000 rpm and 138 Nm of peak torque at 4400 rpm. The updates on the Vitara Brezza are aimed to increase the style quotient of the car and to make it even better to maintain its lead in the subcompact SUV segment.
