First thing first, most Indian buyers opt for a Mercedes Benz car as they have that unbreakable bond with the brand from last few decades. C-Class has been in the charts of highest selling car in the lineup as none other brand sold their cars in the same proportion.

Mercedes C-Class comes with the most powerful diesel engine in its segment. The C250d variant is powered by the same 2143 cc, 4-cylinder engine producing 204 BHP at 3800 rpm and 500 Nm at 1600 rpm. It comes mated to a 9G-Tronic gearbox and takes just 6.6 seconds to sprint from 0-100 kmph. The same power is found in cars that are double its price. Mercedes claim a top speed of 247 kmph for the top spec model. The car still claims 19.71 kmpl of certified mileage, crowning it the best car of its segment without any doubt.

3) Head Turning Design

The new C-Class is highly inspired from the range topping S-Class sedan and carries the same lines in a compact dimension. The high performance headlights, dynamic taillights, rear bumper with diffuser and panoramic sliding sunroof further enhance its charismatic feel. Not just that, the option between various exciting alloy wheel designs further boost the character of the new C-Class. It measures 4686 mm in length, 1810 mm in width and 1442 mm in height. The wheelbase of the car stands at 2840mm and new C-Class has boot space of 480 litres. The proportions are perfect as this brings a good amount of legroom, headroom and shoulder room to all the passengers inside the car.
