Following the praise and recognition at the 2016 Auto Expo – The widely anticipated Duster face-lift has been launched in India at a base price of Rs 8.47 lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Now based on the “CMO10 and T4 E&E” architecture, the SUV benefits from improved safety, and better ride quality besides introducing many other cosmetic and technological upgrades.
On the outside, the Duster now comes with an all new twin-slat chrome grille, hawk-eye cluster headlamps, and a new freshly designed pair of fog lamps. Other upgrades include a new flamboyant orange color scheme, Kayak roof rails, power folding electrically adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators, and a stunning set of 16-inch gunmetal finished alloys.
The interior updates feature a new color theme, seat upholstery and a revised center console design. The SUV also features a rear-view camera, automatic climate control, anti-pinch power windows and media navigation. The higher variants of the SUV get top-notch safety features such as dual airbags, ESP, Hill Start Assist, ABS and EBD along-with brake assist.
The compact SUV remains the same at its core save for the addition of a six-speed Renault Easy-R Automated Manual Transmission to the 110 PS diesel variant-lineup. The 2016 Duster’s price starts from INR 8,46,999 and rises all the way upto INR 13,56,999 depending on the variant.
