Rolls Royce, the British luxury car maker has launched its Dawn convertible in India at a price tag of INR 6.25 Crore. It shares its underpinnings with the Wraith while company claims that just 20 percent of the body matches to the Wraith. The 2.5 tonne Dawn is powered by the same 6.6 L, V12 from the Wraith, producing a massive 563 BHP of maximum power. It comes mated to a 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox.
The revised suspension on the Dawn provides the ‘Magic Carpet’ ride to the car. The roof can be folded up to 50 kmph while it takes 21 seconds for its operation. Rolls Royce claims that the cain with roof on the top is as quiet as the coupe version. It is the company’s second convertible in India after the Phantom Drophead Coupe.
