BS6 Tata Harrier SUV Price Increased by INR 15,000
The BS6 Tata Harrier SUV was launched by the brand back at the Auto Expo in February this year. According to the official website of Tata Motors, the price of Harrier has been increased by up to INR 15,000. In addition to the all-new automatic variants, the brand has also revised the pricing for the updated BS6 variants of the Harrier with a manual gearbox.
After the recent price hike, Tata Harrier is now available with a starting ex-showroom price tag of INR 13.84 lakhs. The BS6-compliant 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine on the 2020 Tata Harrier lineup is now capable of offering maximum power of 170HP as opposed to the 140HP offered by the BS4 version. The maximum torque remains the same at 350Nm.
The brand continues to offer the 6-speed manual gearbox with the Harrier line up as standard while the customers can now also avail the SUV with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Tata is offering the automatic model of the Harrier in three trim levels: XMA, XZA and XZA+. Here is the variant-wise ex-showroom price list for the 2020 BS6-compliant Tata Harrier.
The base Tata Harrier XE variant is now available in the market with a revised price tag of INR 13.84 lakh. In addition to this, the prices for the BS6 automatic variants have also been increased by INR 15,000. The customers can now avail the Harrier XMA at a price tag of INR 16.40 lakh, Harrier XZA at 18.95 lakh, while the top-spec Harrier XZA+ variant is priced at INR 20 lakh.
Coming to the dual-tone variants of the SUV, the BS6-compliant manual variant of the SUV now starts at INR 17.75 lakh while the top-sped Harrier XZA+ dual-tone variant is available at INR 20.20 lakh. In addition to this, the brand has also revised the prices for the Harrier Dark Edition which now starts at INR 17.85 lakh for the base model while goes all the way up to INR 20.30 lakh for the XZA+ automatic model.
The top-spec XZ+/XZA+ variants of the 2020 Tata Harrier SUV have been equipped with a host of attractive features which includes the likes of 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, 6-way powered driver seat as well as an auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror and more. The brand now offers ESP (Electronic Stability Program) as standard across all the variants of the SUV.
The 2020 Tata Harrier SUV is also available in an additional ‘Calypso Red’ paint scheme. The safety package remains standard across all variants while the top-spec variants feature four additional airbags, traction control, hill descent/ascent control and more. The all-new BS6 Tata Harrier competes in the market with the likes of MG Hector, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta as well as Jeep Compass.
