According to the motorcycle sales report for July 2020, the Husqvarna 250 has officially surpassed the total sales registered by the KTM Duke 250 by a huge margin. The Husqvarna 250 series which includes the Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 has been able to get an interesting customer response considering their powerful performance and splendid design.
Bajaj Auto is flourishing in the quarter-litre segment with the introduction of Husqvarna 250 series as well as the recently introduced Dominar 250. Since all the three motorcycles under the brand have been launched with a BS6-compliant engine, the brand has also updated the KTM Duke 250 with the same so as to make the quarter-litre segment equally exciting for the customers. Though the overall sales continue to benefit the brand altogether, the launch of new 250cc motorcycles has divided the sales among all of them.
Coming to the motorcycle sales reports for July 2020, the Husqvarna 250 series has been able to witness a total sales of 725 units. On the other hand, the KTM Duke 250 that has been recently updated with a BS6-compliant engine and even carries a premium of around INR 25,000 over the Husqvarnas has registered only 208 units in July 2020. In the international markets, the Husqvarna 250 series has been positioned at a higher price tag than the KTM Duke 250 though the same strategy is not followed by KTM for the Indian markets.
Coming to the sales registered by the 250cc Dominar that features an almost identical design with its 400cc sibling, the motorcycle has been able to witness 1,222 units in July 2020, surpassing the sales record of both Husqvarna as well as KTM Duke.
