Meet Tata Avinya Electric Car – Official Photos and Details

Tata Motors took one more step forward in innovative technology and electric mobility by recently unveiling the all-new Avinya concept EV. This new concept EV is based on Tata’s new Gen 3 platform, which is meant to be developed for pure electric vehicles. Avinya’s production-spec model is likely to be available in 2025, and the range it will offer is expected to be more than 500 km. As far as its name is concerned, Avinya means innovation in Sanskrit, and Tata has done proper justice with the name.

The Tata Avinya concept also introduces TPEML’s new emblem, which has an LED bar that runs the width of the model both front and back, with a “T” in the centre. The brand has designed the Avinya EV originally for the Indian car market, but it will also target the international markets. As revealed by the carmaker, it intends to launch this new EV just after the introduction of the Curvv EV within the next 24 months.

The forthcoming EV’s exterior design is a perfect blend of SUV and MPV body styles. It’s finished in a copper and black two-tone colour scheme. Because it is an electric car, no front grille is present. The front bonnet steepens significantly, creating the A-pillar. Instead of outside rearview mirrors, you get cameras. There are diamond-cut alloy wheels on the sides, as well as a slit in the door sills.

Tata Motors has also placed a strong emphasis on the inside of the new concept, which has a genuine lounge-like atmosphere. The production-spec vehicle is likely to have a slew of modern creature comforts and technology, as well as autonomous functions and an extended connection outfit. The design also has butterfly doors, which we don’t expect to see in the real vehicle, but the panoramic roof will almost certainly be included.
