Tata Nexon Kraz Edition is now official for India, starting with a price tag of INR 7,14,951 for the petrol variant and INR 8,07,566 for the diesel engine. The variant is available by two names, Kraz and Kraz+, leaving certain features like floating touchscreen infotainment system and alloy wheels away from its existence. Nexon Kraz is available in Tromso Black shade and Metallic Grey roof, creating a perfect combination for those who love dark shades on the exterior. The biggest highlight is the Neon highlights on the ORVM caps, air vents, wheel caps, and seat cover stitching.
The regular XM variant is priced at INR 6.91 lakh for petrol and INR 7.84 lakh for the diesel engine, clearing the fact that a small rise in price is totally justified. Kraz+ seems based on the XT variant, with a price difference of under INR 25,000 for the top spec diesel limited edition. The features are coming right from the assembly line and not as an extended list of accessories. The new shade may fetch more buyers into the Nexon line-up. Nexon Kraz+ is available with automatic climate control, roof rails, cooled glove-box, rear AC vents and electric folding outside mirrors over the Kraz variant.
Tata Nexon is the most powerful compact SUV of India, using a 1.5L diesel engine to deliver 110PS at 3750 rpm and 260Nm at 1500-2750 rpm. Even the petrol motor is equally impressive with 110PS and 170Nm. The high 209mm of ground clearance and 2498mm of wheelbase makes Nexon an impressive option, rivaling none other than Maruti Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport in this segment. Nexon XT is a decently loaded variant with features like ABS, airbags and rear parking sensors as standard. It even comes with a company fitted music system with 4-speakers.
