Tata Punch Tumbles Badly In An Accident; Occupants Came Out Safe

Recently, the images of a badly tumbled-down Tata Punch micro SUV surfaced online, and everyone was thinking about the safety of the passengers inside. The owner of the car shared some more images on Tata Punch Club and talked about the mishap. Although he didn’t explain the reason for the accident and the place, he praised the build quality of the micro SUV. 

“I did not get a single scratch on my body after having such a big accident. “If I didn’t have a Tata Punch, I wouldn’t be alive today,” he mentioned. Looking at the images of the damaged car, it seems like the Tata Punch has taken many rolls before coming to a standstill. However, if the Punch owner had properly described the situation, the scenario would have been clear.

The Tata Punch is known as one of the safest cars in the country, with a five-star safety rating by the Global NCAP. Tested with two frontal airbags, ABS (4-channel), ISOFIX anchorages, and front seatbelt pretensioners, the Tata Punch’s bodyshell integrity was marked as stable after a crash test at 64 kmph. It scored a 5-star safety rating in adult occupant protection and a 4-star safety rating in child occupant protection. 

It also has an idle start/stop technology with Traction Pro mode for the AMT model to aid with off-road conditions. Built on the ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) platform after the Altroz premium hatchback, the Punch has emerged as one of the most preferred cars in the country. 

It has also consistently been in the top ten monthly sales table, and it is the second best-selling vehicle within the brand’s domestic line, behind only its bigger sibling, the Nexon compact SUV, which has been selling strongly in recent months.
