Top 20 Best-Selling Hatchbacks in July 2019 (Sales Report): The most popular segment in cars is the hatchback segment. The sales report for the last month shows that Maruti Suzuki’s WagonR has bagged the 1st position in the list of top 20 best-selling hatchbacks in the Indian market. The car registered a sales figure of 15,062 units and posted a 5% growth when compared to July 2018.

The next three positions were also marked by Maruti Suzuki, the largest carmaker of India. The Swift was good enough to register a sales figure of 12,677 units for July 2019. The third position was bagged by Maruti Alto which registered 11,577 units whereas Maruti Baleno grabbed the 4th position by registering 10,482 units in the last month.

Hyundai makes the entry in the list with the i20 and it bagged the fifth position in terms of sales with 9,012 units for July 2019. The Santro marked itself at 6th position with 5,309 units in the same period. The new entry in this list is the rebadged version of the Maruti Baleno, the Toyota Glanza, which registered a sales figure of 1,804 units and is marked at 11th position in the list of top 20 best-selling hatchbacks.

The Volkswagen Polo was good enough to register a sales figure of 1,600 units and is placed just below the Glanza. The Honda Jazz registered 719 units and was at 16th position last month. Nissan Micra marked itself at the 20th position by registering just 91 units in July 2019.
