Toyota is one of the most reliable car brand name around the world. Japanese by birth, Toyota offers high levels of reliability, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Platinum Etios is one of their most influential cars in the lineup, falling in the price range of premium hatchbacks and compact sedans but delivering duties of a full sized sedan. Here are those 5 reasons that won’t let you fall for any other car.

5 Reasons to Buy New Toyota Etios Platinum

1) Powerful Petrol Engine | Fuel Efficient Diesel Engine

The combination of both power and efficiency could only be found under the Platinum Etios branding. It offers a powerful 1496 cc, 4-cylinder petrol motor producing 90 PS and 132 Nm of torque. Even after carrying a tank like built, it returns a claimed efficiency of 16.78 kmpl. The diesel Etios on the other hand uses 1364 cc, 4-cylinder engine producing 68 PS @ 3800 rpm and 170 Nm @ 1800-2400 rpm. It claims a fuel efficiency of 23.59 kmpl. Both the engines are butter smooth and provide the best in class ride quality to the passengers.

2) Spacious Interior | Massive Boot

Platinum Etios measures 4369 mm of length, 1695 mm of width and 1510 mm of height. The long wheelbase measures 2550 mm, which feels the same as cars one segment above. It has got enough room to fit 3 passengers with utmost ease at the rear. Even the boot space is class leading, providing 592 liters of room for ease of carrying everyone’s luggage. Apart from that, the dual shade interior is even light on your eyes, providing superior driving experience with every ride.

3) 4-Star Safety Rating

While most of the Indian cars fail to pass the crash tests with even a single star, Toyota Platinum Etios scores 4-star safety rating (Global NCAP) as it provided even the base variants of the cars with dual airbags, ABS and EBD and ISOFIX child seat mounts while the top variant comes even with reverse parking sensors, rear defogger and fog lamps. Toyota’s move for standardizing safety on all of their cars has been a good move and others have even moved on the same path, providing many safety features as standard on their new launches.

4) Value for Money

Toyota Etios starts with a price tag of INR 6.43 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Getting a safe sedan with such large boot and a powerful petrol engine is not possible in any other brand currently in India. Even the diesel variant with highly efficient engine comes at INR 7.56 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Getting a decent diesel hatchback is even expensive in India. Certain sub 4 meter cars tagged premium are even expensive than a full loaded Toyota Platinum Etios, even sacrificing much on the interior space and carrying a negligible boot space than the Etios.

5) High Reliability | Low Maintenance

Toyota secures high brand value, mostly known for reliable products and carrying out after sales operations in the most efficient manner. Apart from that, it is even known among the owners for hassle free and low cost of maintenance for their vehicles. Toyota offers much more on the price of a hatchback which no one else can match in the current Indian automotive market.
