Toyota has silently launched the Innova Crysta Leadership Edition, a limited-edition version of the most famous MPV in the Indian market at a price tag of INR 21.21 lakh (ex-showroom). The recently launched MPV variant has been equipped with a dual-tone colour scheme as well as several other feature additions and is based on the VX trim.
The limited-edition Innova Crysta gets a premium of INR 62,000 when compared to the price tag of the present-gen Innova Crysta VX variant. The brand has equipped the MPV with a black roof while the alloy wheels have also been offered an all-black outlook. The MPV has been further equipped with a moulding positioned just at the end of the front bumper while the front grille has been housed on a chrome garnish.
In addition to these, the rear spoiler of the Toyota Innova Crysta Leadership Edition has been equipped with a black moulding that is also carried on to the side skirts. The brand has further equipped the limited edition MPV with “Leadership Edition” badges both inside the cabin as well as on the exteriors.
Coming to the interior, the brand has equipped the MPV with an all-black cabin detailing with the black roof lining while the premium seats have been equipped with the similar ”Leadership Edition” badging on top. In addition to these, the cabin has been equipped with an all-new 360-degree camera while the rearview mirrors are now auto-foldable.
Since the limited-edition Toyota Innova Crysta variant is based on the VX trim, it gets all the similar features which include three airbags as standard, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment, cruise control, climate control, automatic headlights and wipers, leather-wrapped gear knob and steering wheel with audio controls mounted on the latter.
Powering the Toyota Innova Crysta Leadership Edition is the same 2.4-litre, four-cylinder, BS6 diesel engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 150hp and a peak torque of 343Nm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
