It is essentially a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, just like Toyota is selling Glanza, which is based on the Maruti Baleno.
Mechanically, the Toyota Urban Cruiser is powered by the same 1.5-litre petrol engine which is good for a maximum power of 103HP at 6000 rpm along with 138Nm of peak torque at 4400 rpm. The engine has been further mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard while the brand is also offering a 4-speed automatic transmission as optional.
