Volvo V90 Cross Country Launched in India @ INR 60 Lakh

Volvo V90 Cross Country has finally launched in India for INR 60 lakh. The car is actually an estate version of S90 but carries rugged character due to addition of Cross Country moniker.

Apart from the rugged front bumper design, V90 has the same front fascia as S90 and carries the same Thor hammer LED headlights as all other Volvo models. The size of this car helps Volvo fit a bigger grill on this model.

Volvo is using black cladding on all of the wheel arches while 20 inch alloy wheels look brilliant on that large body structure of the V90 Cross Country. The car measures 4938 mm in length, 2019 mm in width and 1542 mm in height.

The luxury wrapped car gets 2941 mm of wheelbase and further offers a lot more legroom than most cars of its segment. The conventional L-shaped taillight design is used on the V90.

The power tailgate of the V90 Cross Country helps one utilize the large 560 liters of boot space. If the second row seats are folded, once can have access to around 1526 liters of boot space.

This makes it good for luxury, rough roads and long drives in a single go. The interior feels luxurious with the new least number of buttons and 9 inch touchscreen system that helps the passengers control everything within the car.

Luxury features on the car includes 19-speaker Bower and Wilkins audio system, adjustable seats with heating, cooling, massage and memory function, heated steering wheel, full LED intelligent headlights, pilot park assist and panoramic sunroof.

V90 Cross Country is powered by a 1969cc, twin turbo diesel engine producing 235 HP and 480 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to 8-speed automatic transmission.
