The biggest two-wheeler brand in the country, Royal Enfield, is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year, and to commemorate the event, the brand has released a series of limited-edition helmets. The collection consists of 12 designs, each inspired by a poster/advertorial from one of the brand’s 12 decades. All helmets have been hand-painted, and only 120 of each design will be manufactured, making all of them very exclusive.
Every week for the following six weeks, Royal Enfield will release two helmet designs, one on Monday and another on Wednesday, with sales beginning on Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon, respectively. Each helmet design will be labelled with a unique number ranging from 001/120 to 120/120. The helmet package will also include a postcard (real poster/advertorial artwork) with the tale of its motivation for that design.
The helmets embrace three levels of certification: ISI, DOT, and ECE, as well as quality internals, leather trimmings, and a sun visor. Open-face helmets will cost Rs 6,950, while full-face helmets will cost Rs 8,450. On the brand’s official website, users may register to acquire these helmets. As per the brand, they launched these helmets to not only safeguard the riders but also inspire the youngsters to keep creating stories on their Royal Enfield motorcycles.

Speaking about the launch, Mr Puneet Sood, National Business Head – North and West India & Global Head – Apparel Business – Royal Enfield, said, “Continuing on its journey of encouraging and kickstarting the active, lifelong pursuit of exploration, Royal Enfield is raising a toast to 120 years of being fiercely unique, riding with undeterred grit and resilience and the endless stories that riders have created on our motorcycles. These are the years that have made us who and what we are today. We understand that a helmet is the first and truly most important riding accessory that a rider buys, is very personal and is worn proudly. There could not have been a better canvas than a helmet for us to share stories from the last 120 years. These limited edition helmets not only cater to the safety, protection, comfort and style needs of riders but should also inspire the younger generation riders and non-riders to continue creating stories on their Royal Enfield motorcycles for many more years to come.”
