2023 Hero Xtreme 160 Spotted – Watch Out Pulsar and Apache!

2023 Hero Xtreme 160 Spotted – Watch Out Pulsar and Apache!

Hero is working on updating its existing motorcycle lineup besides developing new motorcycles. Test mules of the rumoured new 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R have been spotted in Jaipur for the first time.

The styling of the motorcycle appears to follow the conventional street bike trend. That entails a small LED taillight and minimal panels around the headlamp (most likely LED). A rectangular digital instrument console, fuel tank with prominent cladding, and thick tyres.

Hero mid-displacement bike, which was spotted earlier, will come equipped with inverted telescopic front forks, while the 2023 Xtreme 160R new generation retains the traditional telescopic setup. The engine is likely to be updated to improve performance and mileage.

In its current configuration, a 163cc engine comes with a 5-speed transmission system. This BS6-compliant engine produces 15 bhp and 14 Nm of max output. Hero offers it with LED lighting and a digital instrument console. Alloy wheels, dual-channel ABS, and smartphone connectivity are almost certain features.

Hero’s biggest advantage in a field crowded with competent products is its network. But this has not helped them gain market share against archrivals. Hero Motocorp will most likely introduce some segment-first updates with the launch of the new-gen Xtreme 160 to boost sales.

Hero Motocorp will focus on establishing its recently launched Vida electric sub-brand. Because it is critical to the company’s long-term viability. The new Xtreme 160R will be on display at the Auto Expo early next year. Until then we expect regular public appearances of the test mules with some more information.
