BS6 TVS Apache RTR 4V Series Price List [2020 Models]

TVS Motor has recently introduced the BS6 Apache RTR 4V series in the Indian market. The Apache RTR 160 4V has been officially launched at the price tag of INR 1.03 lakh for the disc bike variant while the BS6 model of the RTR 200 4V has been introduced at a price tag of INR 1.24 lakh. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom while the bookings for the updated Apache RTR 4V series have already commenced.

Talking about the RTR 160 4V, it gets a hike in the price tag by INR 3000 when compared to its previous-gen variant while the drum brake variant gets an increase in the price tag by INR 8000. The BS6 engine of the Apache RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V comes equipped with Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi).

Mechanically, the RTR 160 4V continues to be powered by the same 159.7cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve engine, which now generates a maximum power of 16.02HP and the peak torque of 14.12Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. In comparison to the BS4 model, there is a drop in power and torque figures of the BS6 model by 0.78HP and 0.68Nm respectively.

The 2020 models of the Apache RTR 4V series feature a redesigned front-end with the addition of new sporty graphics on the side panels. The bikes also get an all-new LED headlight setup.

Mechanically, the BS6 model of the RTR 200 4V gets the same 197.75cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 20.5HP of maximum power and a reduced torque figure of 16.8Nm. The BS4 model of the bike was able to produce a peak torque of 18.1Nm.

In terms of safety, the RTR 160 4V is equipped with 1-channel ABS, whereas the RTR 200 4V comes with 2-channel ABS as standard. Here is the variant-wise price list of the BS6 TVS Apache RTR 4V series.
