2022 Maruti Brezza Leaked Ahead of Official Debut; Finally Gets a Sunroof!

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been one of the most sold cars by the company in our country since its launch in 2016. However, owing to fierce competition in the market, Maruti is currently working on the next-gen model of the car. But now, ahead of its official introduction, which is anticipated to be early next year, undisguised images of the all-new model have surfaced online and revealed the interior and exterior details.

The leaked images are courtesy of Extreme Media. One key highlight is the sunroof feature on the white-painted new-gen Brezza. It is evident from the images that the car has been revised at a high level and has gotten some other prominent features as well. As per the leaked images, the 2022 model sports a reworked front grille that has been made more noticeable with a black treatment to the chrome strip and a Suzuki emblem in the centre.

Moreover, the newly styled headlamp cluster integrates seamlessly with the attractively integrated LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), and the bonnet structure is also new. The new Brezza has a new dashboard with an Ecosport-style SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system placement compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, powered ORVMs, paddle shifters, a wireless charging system, and more.

The compact SUV, which is built on Maruti’s HEARTECT platform, is anticipated to retain the current 1.5-litre naturally aspirated, four-cylinder, K15B petrol engine. It should, however, acquire a better hybrid system. The engine is mated with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission and is capable of generating 103 HP of max power and 138 Nm of max torque.
