Among the Big Four tech companies, Apple has created a buzz by a recent update on the 2020 iPhone which is lined up to roll out next year. There has been no confirmation of the features proposed by the company to be present in the upcoming 2020 Apple iPhone but a recent report makes it seem promising.
Sources have reported that the upcoming product is expected to feature never seen before functionalities like switchable refresh rate which means that in order to provide a better battery performance, the next-gen iPhone will be able to switch between 60Hz refresh rate to 120Hz depending on the content that you are viewing.
Presently, except for some high-end gaming phones, most of the smartphones are available with around 60Hz-90Hz refresh rate display but the 2020 Apple iPhone is all set to raise the bar. This particular feature is expected to be made available under the brand name “ProMotion”. It will be an interesting thing to witness when Apple implements “ProMotion” on an OLED panel which would be similar to an iPad Pro’s LCD panel.
This feature claims to improve battery performance because it will automatically adjust the display depending on the content’s movement and accordingly smoothens, initiates fluidity while scrolling and also ensures responsiveness. Speculations have also been there about Apple’s next-gen iPhone to get an improved 3D camera.
While the 2020 launch is still far away, Apple is all set for a September iPhone roll-out. The 2019 iPhone range is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup on the iPhone 11 and 11S, while the 11R is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup. The 2019 iPhone series will feature the rear camera module inside a square bump. The upcoming smartphones are also expected to feature a new antenna technology, and many more such features to offer to its users.
