Like every year, Apple will be introducing its new-gen iPhone lineup in September this year. A recent computer-aided design of the top-spec model of the upcoming smartphone series has surfaced online and it is expected to be christened as iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The rendered images which have surfaced on the web unfold a lot of new design changes but an important point to be taken care of is that this design is 70% complete. The reports suggest that there is still some work left with the rear camera module placement and the display notch.
The rendered images of the iPhone 12 Pro Max seem to be inspired by the squarish design profile of the iPhone 5S. The details of the upcoming smartphone are supposed to be accurate and comply with the ongoing rumours that also suggest Apple iPad Pro alike looks with flat edges.
The upcoming smartphone will get thin bezels, which would be around 0.9mm thinner than the ongoing iPhone 11 Pro Max smartphone. For reference, the notch on the mobile phone will be slightly wider when compared to OnePlus 6. This implies that the iPhone 12 Pro Max will have a bigger display which would be of about 6.7-inches.
For optics, the smartphone would come featured with the quad-rear camera setup. It will include a LiDAR sensor as well while the exact details for the camera sensors are still unknown. The cameras positioned in the rendered image could be different in the production-ready model as it is still not final. The speaker grille gets a different look and the loudspeakers have been enhanced too.
It is too soon to reach any conclusion in terms of the design of the upcoming smartphone but one can expect Apple to impart an edgy design profile to set it apart from the rest of the iPhones. The launch of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is still months away so we can expect to witness detailed renders which would reveal much more about the upcoming smartphone.
