BlackBerry KEY2 Leaked Ahead of Official Launch: The Canadian smartphone-maker, BlackBerry is all-set to introduce its new smartphone KEY2 tomorrow at an event in New York and judging from the entire specifications leak by evLeaks, it sure looks promising. The smartphone is the successor to the last year’s Blackberry KEYone and will be priced at $649 in the U.S which is approximately INR 43,500.
The smartphone is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm processor with Adreno 512 GPU and exhibits a 4.5-inch, 3:2 display with 433 PPI and a pixel density of 1620 x 1080. It supports Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for the protection and is available with 6GB of RAM.
BlackBerry KEY2 gets two variants in terms of internal storage: 64GB and 128GB, both are expendable via microSD card up to 256GB. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and exhibits a dual camera set-up at the rear. The primary camera supported is of 12 megapixels with dual-tone LED Flash plus f/1.8 aperture and the secondary camera being 12 megapixels with f/2.6 aperture plus 1.0µm of pixel size.
It also supports an 8 megapixel of selfie camera at the front. The smartphone is equipped with a fingerprint sensor at the front and measures 151.4×71.8×8.5mm. It is powered by 3500mAh battery and gets 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS / GLONASS, NFC, USB 3.0 Type-C as connectivity options.
