Meizu 16s with Snapdragon 855 Unveiled for 3398 Yuan (INR 35,400)

Meizu has finally unveiled its latest flagship smartphone by the name Meizu 16s at an event in China. The smartphone gets “Flyme OS 8”, based on the Android Pie. It will be available in the Chinese market from April 28th though, no details are available regarding its launch in India. The Meizu 16s is available in White, Carbon Black, and Phantom Blue colours.

  • 6GB+128GB – 3398 Yuan (INR 35,400)
  • 8GB+128GB – 3698 Yuan (INR 38,500)
  • 8GB+256GB – 4198 Yuan (INR 43,700)

Coming to the other specifications, the smartphone features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 × 2232 pixels and gets 500 nits brightness and a 91.53% screen-to-body ratio. Powering the Meizu 16s is an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor that has Adreno 640 GPU paired with it. The smartphone gets an in-display fingerprint sensor along with face-unlock feature while packs a 3600mAh battery with 24W mCharge fast charging.

Meizu 16s supports a dual rear camera architecture with a 48MP primary camera with 1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor and a secondary 20MP telephoto lens with Sony IMX350 sensor. The smartphone also features a 20MP front camera which supports AI beautify features. It gets Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB Type-C as connectivity features and gets an inbuilt mEngine 3.0 for real and dedicated gaming vibrations.
