When the display is set at 120Hz and the brightness of the smartphone is lowered, the screen starts showing inconsistent colourization. According to one of the users, several green marks are visible on the top left side of the display. ‘DC Dimming’ is the feature of OnePlus that lowers the power that display uses at a lower brightness level and it temporarily fixes the ‘Green Tint’ display issue to some extent.

The second issue has been named as ‘Black Crush’, in which there is an inaccuracy in dark shades and darker areas look like pixelated. Some users have also reported image retention issues.

OnePlus has officially acknowledged the issues being faced by the buyers stating that they are investigating the same. The company stated: “OnePlus values user feedback and is committed to delivering the best smartphone experience. Our team is currently investigating these reports to identify the best solutions for our users, and we will issue updates as soon as they are ready.”.
