The spec sheet for Oppo F9 Pro, the beautifully designed smartphone with an exclusive notch, has leaked online. The device is offered with metal uni-body design and comes with a 6.3-inch LTPS panel with full HD+ resolution.
The unique screen layout is highly inspired from Essential Phone but, flaunts exclusivity through a curvy notch section than the straight one. The display is flat whereas a small bezel can be seen in the lower section of F9 Pro. The interesting VOOC fast charging allows 2 hours of talk time from just 5 minutes of charge. Oppo F9 Pro comes with 3400 mAh battery with a USB Type-C connector.
The phone runs on Android 8.1 based ColorOS 5.2. Processing power on F9 Pro comes from MediaTek Helio P60 processor and Mali-G72 MP3 graphics unit. The phone will be offered with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Those looking for more memory can go for up to 256GB of expandable memory through microSD card. Packed inside a thin panel, the phone will arrive in India in the last week of August 2018. F9 Pro comes with a 25MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and center placement.
The rear camera available on F9 Pro is a dual 16MP + 16MP unit with f/1.85 aperture and LED flash. Oppo has placed both the cameras in a horizontal manner. The flash sits next to both the cameras in the same plane. Use of Gorilla Glass 6 on the phone makes F9 Pro a solid partner in tough times.
The screen is capable of withstanding 15 drops from a height of 1 meter, making it extremely practical in comparison with other big display devices. F9 Pro features light sensor, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The shade options for India are yet to be disclosed while the expected price of F9 Pro is around INR 30,000.
