Finally, the Realme X smartphone has been officially launched in India at INR 16,999. The phone was first introduced in China in May. The smartphone comes featured with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with 2.2mm narrow border on the top and 1.62mm ultra-narrow bezels on sides.
The phone comes powered by a Snapdragon 710 mobile platform with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone also gets new gel cooling system that reduces the temperature by up to 15.2% in one hour. Realme X also has a sixth gen in-display fingerprint scanner. Apart from the standard edition, the brand has also launched the Spiderman Edition and the Master Edition in the Indian market for INR 19,999 and INR 20,999 respectively.
For Optics, the smartphone gets a 48MP rear camera setup with Sony IMX586 sensor, AI scene recognition and a 5MP secondary camera which is for capturing depth information in portrait shots. The smartphone also has AI scene detection, Chroma Boost and Nightscape features. At the front, the phone gets a 16MP pop-up front camera with Sony IMX471 sensor with AI beautification. For user satisfaction, the elevating mechanism of the pop-up camera has been tested 200,000 times.
The backup performance of the smartphone is handled by a 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 20W fast charging. The standard edition of the Realme X comes in Space Blue and Polar White colours. It is priced INR 16,999 for the 4GB RAM variant and 8GB RAM variant costs INR 19,999. The smartphone will go on sale on Flipkart and Realme.com from 24th July. There will also be a special sale on 18th July at 8 PM.
