2018 Samsung Galaxy A8 Plus Launched: Samsung has just launched the 2018 Galaxy A8+, the successor to the 2017’s A7 at a price of INR 32,990 at an event in Delhi. It is considered to be the smartphone S8’s doppleganger with a lot of borrowed specifications but with a dual front camera and a bigger battery which are even not supported by top tier phones.
The dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and supports a 6-inch Full HD+ (1080×2220 pixels) Super AMOLED display in 18.5:9 aspect ratio. A8 Plus It is powered by Octa-Core Exynos 7885 14nm processor and features a 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.
The Samsung galaxy A8+ features a 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel dual front camera and a 16-megapixel rear camera sensor on the back with an f/1.7 lens, phase detection auto-focus, LED flash and 1080p video recording. The front sensors allows A8+ to create a Bokeh effect by blurring the background in images.
The smartphone is IP68-certified making it dust and water-resistant. The connectivity features includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery with support for fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy A8+ will be exclusively available via Amazon India, from January 20 at a selling price of INR 32,990.
