Samsung Galaxy S8 recently witnessed a huge drop in price for all four shades in India. The model is now available for INR 37,990 and can be bought in Burgundy Red, Orchid Grey, Midnight Black and Maple Gold shade. The launch price of INR 57,900 clears that a buyer saves INR 20,000 in this deal.
Not just that, Samsung India’s official website is accepting old phones for exchange at much better prices than other websites. Samsung Galaxy S8+ is also available with an even bigger discount of INR 21,000. It can be bought for INR 43,990 and comes in Midnight Black, Coral Blue, Maple Gold and Orchid Grey shade.
*Above mentioned prices include INR 10,000 PayTM Mall cashback.
*Samsung Galaxy S8+ is also available with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage for INR 64,900
Both the devices are offered with a 12MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture lens, optical image stabilization, smart auto-focus, face detection, selective focus, slow motion, and HDR. The front comes with an 8MP unit with f/1.7 aperture, face detection, wide selfie and selective focus.
Only the rear camera is offered with LED flash on S8 and S8+. Processing power comes from octa-core Exynos 8895 (2.35 GHz quad-core + 1.7 GHz quad-core). Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8-inch display while S8+ gets a bigger 6.2-inch QHD+ display. Both displays are super AMOLED and feature Mali G71 MP20 GPU.
Samsung offers 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage along with microSD support for expandable storage up to 256GB on both devices. List of sensors includes fingerprint, iris, pressure, hall, proximity, RGB light, geomagnetic and gyro.
Samsung S8 comes with 3000 mAh battery while S8+ uses a bigger 3500 mAh battery. It seems like the drop in price for both these devices is a clear move to bring more OnePlus and Apple users to their side. This can also help them claim better sales after OnePlus 6 arrives in India for an almost similar price.
