One of China’s leading smartphone companies Vivo has launched a new smartphone in its S-lineup known as S1 Pro. The new smartphone was recently launched in its home market and it looks like a more powerful variant of the S1, which was launched earlier this year. By the looks of the phone, it appears to be similar to S1 but it differentiates in terms of features.
The S1 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 675 11nm processor. The chipset of the phone has been paired with 6GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage or 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, and we must mention that it is a sort of two weird memory configurations. The S1 Pro has a 6.39-inch super AMOLED notch-less touchscreen display that has a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The smartphone has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.64%.
Coming to optics, the Vivo S1 Pro boasts a triple rear camera setup which includes a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.78 aperture, a second 8MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a third 5 MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture. At the front, it has got an elevating selfie camera of 32 MP with f/2.0 aperture. The phone runs on FunTouch OS9 based on Android Pie.
It is a dual-SIM smartphone that includes Wi-fi, Micro USB port, VOLTE, and GPS as the connectivity options. The Vivo S1 Pro is equipped with a 3700 mAH battery. It also has a button on its left to summon AI-based voice assistant JOVI. The phone is being offered in two colours: Blue and Red. The S1 Pro is priced at 2698 yuan (INR 27,700 approx), and the smartphone is now on sale in China.
