Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has officially launched the Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max smartphones in India with a starting price tag of INR 12,999. Both the smartphones are equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ Dot Display that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Both phones are powered by Snapdragon 720G processor which is further mated to Adreno 618 GPU. For optics, the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max smartphones feature a quad rear camera setup. However, they differ in terms of their primary rear cameras.
The Note 9 Pro gets a 48MP primary rear camera whereas the Note 9 Pro Max is equipped with a 64MP primary rear camera. Other three cameras for both smartphones are the same. Both get an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP 2cm macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the Note 9 Pro gets a 16MP camera and Note 9 Pro Max gets a 32MP selfie camera. In terms of battery, the Note 9 series comes in a pack with 5020mAh battery. The smartphones will be available in India via Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores starting from March 17, 2020.
