The company is all set to repeat its history as Xiaomi’s subdivision Redmi recently confirmed the Redmi Note 8 to be a work in progress. In the company’s affirmation, it said that the upcoming release will be a more powerful version for all the rival smartphones.
Through a Chinese publication, ITHome, we found out that the company’s General Manager, Lu Weibing in response to a Weibo post confirmed that the much-awaited smartphone is in its development stage and the official emphasized the product by saying, “It is much stronger than the next door, rest assured”.
Reports have also been there of an unknown smartphone from the Xiaomi subdivision that has model name M1906GT. These reports have also claimed that the smartphone is the Redmi phone equipped with a 64-megapixel camera or it may be a gaming smartphone that will be having MediaTek’s new Helio G90T SoC powerful processor. Although there is no official information available.
The MediaTek chip that is speculated to be present in the Redmi Note 8 is a gaming-focused processor. It possesses a “Hyper Engine” gaming technology that promises an improved experience with games that are graphic-concentrated like PuBG, Fortnite etc. The powerful processor has entered the market to compete with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 that was launched back in April this year.
It can be speculated that the 64-megapixel smartphone will be first such product from the brand. The smartphone has teased Mi fans for quite some time but now it can be expected that the details may be released officially in the coming days. The product will be succeeding the previous release Redmi Note 7.
