540cc Royal Enfield Classic ‘Reckless’ Edition by Bulleteer Customs

Bulleteer Customs have customized a new scrambler, which is based on the Royal Enfield Classic 500. The Bangalore-based company has christened it the “Reckless”. The Head Designer of the company has customized the scrambler for himself as a personal expression of his style. The Reckless has several custom body parts and mechanical upgrades, which have given the bike an increased power.

The fenders on the rear and the front have been chopped down on the Reckless. The seat has been replaced for a single-piece elongated one with a tanned brown leather finish. The fuel tank has also been swapped for a larger custom-made round tank, and the front forks have been replaced with the upside-down forks from the KTM 390 Duke.

On the rear, the stock twin-shock absorbers have been removed, and a pair of gas-charged shock absorbers from Paioli have been added. The stock headlight has been replaced with a Daymaker LED headlight with a yellow tint which is protected with a rugby helmet-styled grille.

The Reckless features 18-inch front and 15-inch rear rims with wire spokes that are finished in matte black colour. These wheels are paired to a 120/80-section front and 140/90-section rear knobby tires manufactured by Ralco. Switching over to the rear, we also see a custom bracket for the taillight and a free flow exhaust system. There is a twin-pod instrument cluster on the bike, and the overall paint scheme is a custom silver and black, with a Reckless branding in white.

The mechanical upgrades on the Reckless include a re-bored 540cc engine that is equipped with revised sprockets and a K&N filter. According to Bulleteer Customs, the Reckless is equipped with a VM36 Mikuni carburettor which gives it exclusive power tuning and a significant power bump. On off-road sections, according to the customizer, it is quite effortless to let the rear end lose while doing power slides and drifts. The power and performance figures for the Reckless have been kept a secret by the company.
