Mahindra Thar BADLANDS VEHICLE Photos and Quick Details

The Mahindra Thar is one of the most popular vehicles among the modifiers. Its off-roading abilities make it a perfect choice for folks who love to experiment with their rides. We see a lot of customised Thars with amazing work, and today also, we got to know about another such beauty transformed by Noida-based Classic Servicepoint.

To begin with, the front facade mods are done for this “Badlands Vehicle”, which now boasts a new front grille with four vertical grooves. The stock headlamp unit is exchanged with after-market LED headlights with integrated dual-purpose LEDs (DRLs and indicators). A new off-road bumper, along with integrated bull bars and a bash plate, adds to its rugged and robust feel.

In addition, the custom bonnet with sporty-looking air vents on the top and ‘Badlands Vehicle’ branding on the sides is another notable addition. However, the stock bonnet clamps are retained by the modifier. There are plenty of customisations done on the rear profile as well. The taillights now have piano black embellishments and the rear bumper is now finished in black.

The Classic Servicepoint custom house has done a great job by installing after-market alloys that are clothed in BFGoodrich All-Terrain tyres. Speaking of the paint scheme, the SUV is now painted in beige, which goes well with the blacked-out components. A pair of auxiliary LED light bars have also been added to the roof of the SUV, directly over the front windscreen. The inside of the SUV is obscured by the tinted windscreen and windows.

If we talk about the stock model of Mahindra Thar, the SUV is available with two engine options: a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine and a 2.0-litre turbocharged mStallion petrol engine. The mHawk130 DOHC 16-valve diesel engine is good for a maximum power of 130 BHP with a peak torque of 300 Nm. Coming to the petrol option, the mStallion150 T-GDi DOHC 16-valve petrol engine generates a maximum power of 150 BHP along with an utmost torque of 320 Nm.
