Exclusivity has no boundaries and Rrahul Tanejaa from Jaipur proved this statement right by getting himself INR 16 lakh worth number plate for his brand new Jaguar XJ L. His plate number RJ 45 CG 1 is the most expensive number plate ever sold in Jaipur.

Rrahul owns an event management company and waited for almost six weeks before the number arrived for his luxury saloon. His other cars also have 0001 number plates. The trend for getting fancy number plates is not that huge in India. It stays low because the government does not allow people to get personalized plates with alphabets and numeric values in a custom order.

The trend for custom plates in other countries is huge as one can spot numerous deals where the prices have gone into millions. One such example comes with ‘D5’ plate being sold for INR 67 Crore and ‘1’ number plate fetching INR 66 Crore in 2008.
