Suzuki Jimny Heritage Edition Makes Its Debut – Details and Photos

Suzuki has introduced the Heritage edition of Jimny in Australia. This version of Jimny will be limited to 300 units and will include cosmetic updates.

Suzuki Australia has customised the Jimny Heritage edition with retro graphics. It has Orange and Red stripes on the side and rear. This commemorates Jimny’s off-road legacy from the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s. Along with the retro graphics, it gets a Jimny Heritage decal on the rear fenders. The Jimny Heritage also receives Red mud flaps with a White Suzuki logo. The Heritage edition is available in White, Bluish-Black Pearl, Jungle Green, and Medium Grey.

The Jimny Heritage is equipped with the same features as the standard Jimny like the LED projector headlamps and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. It comes with a 7.0” touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A reverse camera and climate control, are all standard features on the Heritage.

The Jimny Heritage has received no mechanical updates from Suzuki. The 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine continues to produce a max power of 105 hp and 134 Nm of peak torque. Suzuki specifies that the Heritage edition will only be available with a 5-speed manual transmission. The regular version retains the option of a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro four-wheel drive system is also standard on the Heritage edition.
