- A hike of approximately one percent is expected
- Other car manufacturers are also planning to increase prices next month
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced that it will raise the prices of its vehicle lineup in India starting April 1, 2024. This adjustment marks the second price hike by the automaker this year following the initial revision in January.
The price increase, estimated to be around one percent, is attributed to rising input costs and operational expenses, according to Toyota. In addition to Toyota, Honda Cars India and Kia India are also planning to raise the prices of their models, with other manufacturers likely to follow suit in the coming days.
Toyota currently offers a range of 11 cars in India, including popular models like the Glanza, Rumion, Innova Hyross, Vellfire, Fortuner, Fortuner Legender, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Land Cruiser, Hilux, and the Innova Crysta. The lineup is set to expand further with the introduction of the Fronx-based Taisor early next month.
