The monthly sales report for KTM motorcycles is out and the Austrian brand has been able to witness a total increase in overall sales by 39% in September 2019 when compared to the same month last year.
The 125cc motorcycles in the brand’s portfolio which include the RC 125 and Duke 125 have been able to register a total sales of 2,648 units in September 2019 and have topped the other motorcycles in the brand’s portfolio. The RC 125 was launched by the brand in June this year while the 125 Duke was introduced back in November 2018.
The total sales of all the motorcycles from the brand have witnessed a positive growth with an increase of 39.28% by registering 5,805 units as compared to the 4,168 units registered in the same month last year. The KTM Duke 200, on the other hand, has registered a decline in sales by 26.85% and witnessed a total of 2,095 units in September 2019 as compared to the 2,864 units recorded in the same month last year.
Witnessing a marginal decline in sales by 0.95%, the KTM 250 Duke sales dipped from 629 units in September 2018 to 623 units in September 2019. The Duke 390 also witnessed a decline in sales by 41.04% and recorded 398 units in September 2019 as compared to the 675 units sold in the same month last year.
The recently-launched Duke 790 has been able to record a total of 41 units in just 10 days after its launch in the country. The sports machine has been launched by the brand at a price tag of INR 8.64 lakhs while the production of the motorcycle is limited to only 100 units in the first phase.
