According to the recently revealed model-wise sales report, the Royal Enfield 650 Twins have been able to register a sales growth of 216% in November 2019 when compared to the same month last year. The motorcycles were launched back in 2018 while the revolutionary pricing and outstanding performance make them one of the most sought after motorcycles in the Indian market.
The Royal Enfield 650 Twins, which includes the Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor 650, have been able to register a total sales of 1,027 units in November 2019. The total sales numbers are higher by 216% when compared to only 325 units registered in November 2018.
Powering the Royal Enfield 650 Twins is a 648cc twin-cylinder engine that is capable of generating maximum power of 47HP @ 7250 rpm and a peak torque of 52Nm @ 5250 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The customers can avail the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 at a starting price tag of INR 2.55 lakh (ex-showroom) while the Continental GT 650 is available at INR 2.71 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model. The brand is expected to launch the BS6-compliant variants of the 650 Twins by the April 2020.
