According to our list of top 15 best-selling sedans, Maruti Suzuki Dzire ranks at the first position as the car was able to register a sales figure of 5,476 units for March 2020. The second rank in the list has been marked by Honda’s Amaze that registered a sales figure of 2,744 units. It witnessed a drop of 63% in sales when compared to the same month last year. Not only Amaze, but all cars have also posted a big drop in sales due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic situation across the country.
Following the Honda Amaze, the next car in the list is the Hyundai Xcent/Aura at the third position with a sales figure of 2,615 units for last month. The fourth position in the list has been marked by Maruti Ciaz which bagged 1,863 units for the previous month. Hyundai Verna was good for 893 units and grabbed the fifth position in the list. The next two positions have been marked by Honda City and Ford Aspire respectively.
Going down in the list we have Nissan Sunny at the thirteenth position with a sales figure of 87 units. Surprisingly, it witnessed a growth of 38% when compared to the sales number posted by the sedan in March in the previous year. Honda Civic marked itself at the fourteenth position in the list with a sales figure of 67 units for March 2020. The last position in the list of top 15 best-selling sedans in India has been marked by Toyota Camry that was good enough to post a sales figure of 60 units.
