The 2020 Honda PCX150 premium scooter has been officially unveiled in Thailand. The brand is offering the updated model of the scooter in four new colour schemes as a part of its MY2020 update.
Honda is now offering the scooter with a black paint scheme which further features interesting red detailing going all the way from the front apron to the rear of the scooter. In addition to this, the customers can also avail the scooter with a white paint scheme with similar red detailing offered to the black colour variant.
For the customers looking out for something out of the ordinary, the all-new red and grey colour scheme offered to the 2020 Honda PCX150 might suffice. The scooter variants feature a premium golden alloy wheel design while the glossy primary colour detailing adds to its futuristic appeal.
The scooter continues to feature an LED headlight with sharper body accents adding to the aerodynamic design profile. The updated scooter variant continues to feature the ‘Honda Smart Controller’ blue-LED backlit knob that allows the rider to open the storage space under the seat as well as the fuel lid. In addition to this, the controller offers the utmost security by locking the scooter while acting as an ignition switch at the same time.
The brand has further retained the fully-digital instrument cluster as well as the USB charging unit on the 2020 Honda PCX150. The scooter also features a smart key system in addition to getting a welcome light.
Powering the premium scooter is the same 149cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is good for 13.3HP of power and a peak torque of 14Nm. The engine remains mated to a CVT gearbox. The brand is expected to roll out the scooter in the Southeast Asian markets in the coming days though it is highly unlikely to grace the Indian shores due to the brand not being able to offer a competitive price tag.
