Hero Electric Scooters Available with Exclusive Online Scheme

Hero Electric is one of the famous and biggest EV brands in India. At present, it has a consumer base of around 2.50 lakh customers in the Indian market. Recently, the brand has announced an online scheme on its entire range of electric scooters except for the Flash lead-acid low-speed model.

Hero Electric’s online scheme offers an instant cash discount of INR 5,000 for the customers who book any of its electric scooters. Also, the customers who will be booking the Glyde and the e-cycle would get a cash rebate of INR 3,000. Other than these discounts, the brand is also providing cash benefits of INR 1,000 to the existing customers for reference purchases.

Hero Electric Scooters Available with Exclusive Online Scheme

The above-mentioned schemes are valid only for online bookings made between April 17 to May 15, 2020. A non-refundable fixed token amount of INR 2,999 would be charged irrespective of the model. The customers would get a refund of the online booking amount only if the ongoing nationwide lockdown extends beyond June.

After the lockdown ends, the customers would be able to take the delivery of the electric vehicle before June end. The brand has made a lot of plans for the future as they are working on expanding its reach in the country by increasing its current 600 touchpoints to 800 by the end of the year.

Hero Electric is also planning to increase the production capacity of scooters to up to 5 lakhs annually in the coming 3 years. Currently, the brand has a wide range of electric scooters that include the Flash, Nyx, Optima, Photon, Dash along with the extended range variants that include Glyde and E-Cycle. These two are also powered by high-quality lithium-ion batteries.
