Okinawa Scooters, one of the leading electric two-wheeler manufacturers in India has officially showcased an all-new Cruiser Electric maxi-scooter at the Auto Expo 2020. The scooter promises power-packed performance and features a striking colour scheme.
Coming to the front fascia, the all-new electric scooter from Okinawa features a motorcycle-inspired front design with a larger apron and a tinted visor mounted on it. The scooter has been equipped with a large LED headlight setup while gets a semi-digital instrument console. The customers will also be able to avail the Mobile App connectivity feature with the recently unveiled scooter.
The handlebar, as well as the footpegs, have been imparted with chrome detailing while the Okinawa Cruiser maxi-scooter has been equipped with a flexible footrest position that offers utmost comfort to the rider. The scooter has been further equipped with a comfortable large saddle to accommodate two adults with ease. The use of 14-inch alloy wheels further accentuates its overall sporty styling.
The Okinawa Cruiser features a glove box compartment at the front though there has been no information revealed on the under-seat storage. Powering the electric scooter is a 3kW electric motor mated to a 4kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The scooter is capable of offering a maximum range of 120km on a single charge while the top speed ranges at 100kmph. The load-carrying capacity of the scooter limits at 150kgs.
The brand has equipped the Okinawa Cruiser electric maxi-scooter with conventional telescopic forks at the front while the rear has been equipped with gas-charged twin springs. The braking power is offered by disc brakes on either side.
In addition to this, the recently unveiled scooter features anti-theft alarm system while gets a keyless ignition system. The electric scooter has been equipped with a USB charger for charging a smartphone on the go while also gets a “Find My Scooter” function for additional security. The scooter is expected to be officially launched after mid-2020 while the prices are also expected to be revealed later.
